What we offer

Free Wi Fi - While the Overberg region offers more than enough reason to get off the grid, our lodge gives you access to free Wi Fi, so you can post all the amazing pictures of your trip onto social media or catch up on some emails.
TV in all units - All the Kleinmond Lodge units are equipped with a DStv enabled TV, so whether you want to watch the big game, or stay in and catch a movie, you can do so in the comfort of your own home away from home.
Your safety during your stay at our lodge is of utmost importance to us - All our units have safety deposit boxes to keep all your valuables locked-up while you're out and about having fun. We ensure further safety with our access controlled gates that lead to secure parking, all under the watchful eye of our security cameras around the outside of the lodge.
Beach essentials rental - We know that when you're travelling you have limited space in your car, that's why we have all the beach essentials you'll need. From a beach umbrella to beach chairs and beach towels, you can rent whatever you need for a stunning day in the sun.
Braai area - Nothing is more South African than having a braai with friends and family. The lodge offers you the perfect braai area where you can put some of the local seafood on the fire or enjoy a more traditional BBQ.

For the cycling enthusiasts - We are bicycle-friendly with secure storage area and have a dedicated bike wash area. There is also a bicycle shop/service available in town. The lodge is 30 minutes away from world famous mountain bike trails in Hermanus and other safe, friendly cycling routes for mountain biking and road cycling.
Large communal kitchen/dining area available for use to all guests - This fully equipped kitchen/dining area is great for get-togethers with your group of travellers and is also ideal for meeting up with strangers and making new friends for life.
Laundry service on site - At the Kleinmond Lodge we know that, whether you're out on the beach or enjoying a hike along the Palmiet River, things can get a little bit messy. That's why we have a laundry service on our premises. Self service is available for a nominal fee or we can do it for you.
Cleaning services - During your stay you can request a freshened-up home away from home without lifting a finger. From only R100 per day for the double units and R150 per day for the family units, we will service your room by replacing your towels and linen, and replenish your water, tea and coffee.

The Kogelberg Nature Reserve is ideal for a day hike or cycle, with indigenous fynbos guiding the way.
You can also walk along the Palmiet River which has numerous spots for a quick swim to escape the heat.
The Equestrian Centre Overstrand has a stable of horses, all ready to take you on a ride through the beautiful countryside – the perfect escape from a busy city life.
The Kleinmond Golf Course offers 9 holes/18 tees of pure enjoyment, while the Arabella Golf Course is also a short drive away for those who want to test their skills on this world-famous course.
If you are into arts and crafts, there are a variety of stores to browse and art galleries for you to visit.
Visit Hermanus – a beautiful 20 minute drive from Kleinmond. Hermanus is a seaside town popular as a whale-watching destination. With beaches like Voëlklip Beach and the broad Grotto Beach overlooking the famous Walker Bay, Hermanus is a must during your stay.
Don’t miss out on the Hemel and Aarde Wine Valley with their selection of award-winning wines.
Betty’s Bay, only 10 minutes’ drive from Kleinmond, boasts the Stony Point Nature Reserve – home to a unique colony of African Penguins.
The Harold Porter National Botanical Gardens offers a wide range of flora as well as incredible birdlife to soak up during your visit.
